The Internet has turned our existence upside down. It has revolutionized communications, to the extent that it is now our preferred medium of everyday communication. Every activity we do in our daily lives has some relation to internet, be it ordering your favorite food, sharing a moment with a friend, sending a picture over instant messaging and many more. Before the invention of internet in order to read the news we would wait till morning to get the newspaper, but things have changed now, with a button click you can get all the information that is going all around the world.

The Internet itself has been transformed. Previously we could only send some bytes of information across one channel to another but now a days we deal with huge giga bytes of data being transferred.

In the 1980s and 1990s, the Internet widened in scope to encompass the IT capabilities of universities and research centers, and, later on, public entities, institutions, and private enterprises from around the world. The emergence of web 2.0 in the first decade of the twenty-first century was itself a revolution in the short history of the Internet, fostering the rise of social media and other interactive, crowd-based communication tools.

The internet was no longer seen as a concern of information exchange alone, now a days we can create content, post videos, pictures and many more we can do over the internet. We could also send the data from one country to another across oceans miles away easily just in a matter of seconds.

The internet brought the people closer to each other so they are connected 24/7 with each other, but in what ways it has changed the human relation? The Internet has changed business, education, government, healthcare, and even the ways in which we interact with our loved ones — it has become one of the key drivers of social evolution.

The development of the Internet today is being shaped predominantly by instant, mobile communications. The mobile Internet is a fresh revolution. Comprehensive Internet connectivity via smartphones and tablets is leading to an increasingly mobile reality: we are not tied to any single specific device, and everything is in the cloud.
